Story Writing Competitions 2024. We’ve included free competitions and also many with modest entry fees. Entering the contest provides an opportunity for new writers to have their work evaluated by a panel of professional writers and to reach wider audiences with their voice.

From 1st april 2023 to 30th june 2025: Student writing contests are a challenging and inspiring way to try writing for an authentic audience—a real panel of judges—and the possibility of prize money or other.
